Broad Interests Neil has, besides a commercial focus, a strong belief that a well functioning community is essential to the development of our society and each individual.  It is this belief that has shaped his various NED activities, hence his involvement over the years in such organisations as The Abused Child Trust and CEDA.  Additionally, Neil has involved himself in assisting secondary and tertiary educational organisations, including a period as a Councillor of the University of Newcastle, and various sporting bodies.
